Application
May be used for the preparation of phosphate buffered saline, and for the extraction and solubilization of proteins.
Potassium chloride has been used in the preparation of the following:
1. Amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP) deposition solution, used for ACP coating on Ti coupons.
2. Modified methylene blue (MB) solution, utilized in the MB two-phase titration method.
3. 4-(2-Hydroxyethyl)-1-piperazineethanesulfonic acid (HEPES)-containing artificial cerebrospinal fluid (ACSF) solutions.
4. Artificial sea water.
