    Products Usage

    The main role of nickel in stainless steel is that it changes the crystal structure of the steel. One of the main reasons to add nickel in stainless steel is to form austenitic crystal structure, thereby improving properties such as plasticity, weldability and toughness of stainless steel, so nickel is called austenitic forming element,
    Nickel content up to 5% can improve the tensile strength and hardness of low-carbon structural steel. Carbon steel containing 3% nickel can improve its tensile strength, impact toughness, yield point and deformation ability. NiCrMo structural steel containing 1% to 4% nickel is suitable for automotive, locomotive and machine manufacturing because of the ratio of tensile strength to mass of this steel. In addition to these elements, steel for wear-resistant components also contains carbon. The most important nickel-containing steels and the largest users are stainless steel and heat-resistant special steels. For example, Cr18Ni9TiCr17Ni11M02 and other series of heat-resistant stainless steel, good thermal processing performance, in machinery, medical, national defense, light industry has been widely used.
