    Products Usage

    It is usually rolled from alloy and can be made into a diaphragm (called a film) and a membrane tube (called a tube). The film thickness is usually 50 to 100 microns. It is mainly used for the purification of oxygen, and its principle is solution-diffusion mode, and the driving force of diffusion is the partial pressure difference of hydrogen on both sides of the membrane. At 300-500C, when the raw material hydrogen is pressurized into one side of the film, the hydrogen molecule first chemically adsorbs and dissociates into hydrogen atoms on the surface of the film, the latter dissolves in the alloy to form hydrides, and the small hydrogen atoms are located in the gap of the alloy lattice and can move freely. Driven by the concentration gradient, hydrogen atoms diffuse to the other side of the membrane and precipitate out, recombining into hydrogen molecules and desorption. In addition to hydrogen and its isotopes, no other gas can pass through the membrane, so the armored membrane can be used to obtain ultra-high purity hydrogen. The rate of hydrogen transmembrane is related to temperature, film thickness and hydrogen partial pressure difference P on both sides of the film. Increasing temperature, increasing human P and decreasing film thickness can increase the hydrogen permeability. However, if the temperature is too high, it will increase energy consumption and reduce the physical strength of the film. Therefore, the temperature is usually controlled at around 400C. Some impurities can lead to membrane poisoning, reduce the ammonia permeability of the membrane, and even destroy the membrane. Lead poisoning can be caused by mercury, arsenide, halide, oil vapor, sulfur and ammonia substances and dust. Aluminum alloy can be made into tubes (tubes) or diaphragms (films).
