Products Usage
(1) As an additive for NdFeb permanent magnets, adding about 2~3% dysprosium to this magnet can improve its coercivity, the demand for dysprosium is not large in the past, but with the increase in demand for NdFeb magnets, it becomes a necessary addition element, grade must be in 95~99. At around 9%, demand is also increasing rapidly.
(2) dysprosium used as a phosphor activator, dysprosium trivalent is a promising single light-emitting center of the activator ion of trichromic light-emitting materials, it is mainly composed of two emission bands, one is yellow light emission, the other is blue light emission, doped luminous materials can be used as trichromic phosphor.
